Troubleshooting-INSE I5 Corded Vacuum Cleaner (Red/Blue)

1. How can I improve the suction on my vacuum cleaner?

A: Here are a few reasons why a vacuum cleaner loses its suction power and the things you could do to fix them:

#1 Dust container-related issues: The first thing you need to do is check if the dust container is full. It is suggested to empty the dust container in time. That way you know for sure that the loss of suction is not caused by this issue.

#2 Caked up filters: The pre-motor filter prevents dirt and dust from getting into the motor. Over time this filter can accumulate a cake of dirt and debris. A clogged up filter can cause your vacuum to lose its suction. Please replace or clean the filter in time. Beware of making sure the filter is completely dry before installation.

#3 Blockages: From a small Lego piece to a pencil, a vacuum cleaner can literally suck in more than it can swallow. When that happens, the object usually gets lodged, which in turn obstructs the airflow. Please regularly check the hose and attachments for obstructions.

#4 Air leakage: A rip in the hose or crack of the dust container can drastically compromise the suction power of a vacuum cleaner. Air leakage can also occur if the attachments are not fitted properly. Check the hose and attachment to ensure there are no air leakages.

#5 Faulty motor: If everything else is fine, please contact us via support@inselife.com by offering your order number and details about the issue you met, we will check if the motor is faulty and offer you a replacement.

2. My vacuum cleaner stops working, what should I do?

There might be 4 situations that the machine stops working, first you need to confirm which situation is of your vacuum cleaner:

#1. Works well then shuts down: Turn on the machine, the vacuum works well for a while, but it turns off quickly/shuts down suddenly. (see Question 3 )

#2. Doesn't work at all: Press the power button, the vacuum cleaner doesn’t work at all/can't be turned on. (see Question 4)

3. My vacuum cleaner works well for a while, then stops working/shuts off suddenly.

A: If it can be turned after a while, then shuts down suddenly. It might be caused by overheating protection. This model is designed with overheating protection to prevent motor being burnt after a long-time use, which is also designed to guarantee safety.  If it overheats within 10 mins,

please check:

#1.  Filters: check all the filters inside of the dustbin to see if there is any blockage. If the vacuum cleaner is blocked it will lead to shut down because of overheating protection. Please clean all the filters and install them back in place after completely dry, then try again.

#2. Dustbin: Please check the dustbin if it's full (over-Max--mark) and check if the metal extension tube is clogged. Clean it then try again.

B: If the machine cannot be turned on again after the shutdown, then it might be caused by the broken motor. Please contact us by support@inselife.com by offering your order number and details about the issue you met, we will check and confirm the broken part, then offer you a replacement.

4. My vacuum cleaner doesn’t work at all.
